Welcome to the Iowa Wind Energy Association!   

The Iowa Wind Energy Association was formed with the cooperation of Iowa Lakes Community College operating as their fiscal agent.  The association has created and filed its Articles of Incorporation with the Secretary of State and has created a Board of Directors to move the organization forward as it represents the interests of the wind industry in Iowa – and nationwide. 

It is the intent of this organization to build a very broad based membership that will represent not only the wind industry from a manufacturer’s standpoint but also the utility industry, landowners and many related industries which benefit from the expansion of the wind industry in Iowa.
